Recall a classic Fall Classic, with this 1970 World Series full ticket block of (2). Held at Cincinnati's newly opened Riverfront Stadium, Games 1 and 2 enjoyed nearly full-capacity crowds, so very few full tickets survived intact. A miniscule numbered of these 2-ticket blocks are know, and to date, PSA has encapsulated just 4 examples. This very attractive block is PSA graded (EX-MT 6), which is good for a Pop Report rank of "1 of 1" at this level, with 2 higher.
This exciting Series was filled with memorable moments, weighted in favor of the champion Baltimore Orioles. Each of the O's three 20-game winners picked up a victory in this 5-game World Series, while the sluggers bashed 10 homers. The biggest thrills were provided by Brooks "The Human Vacuum Cleaner" Robinson, who earned the MVP award for his dazzling play while manning third base.
Opening Bid $100.
