These classic publications are (5) Sports Illustrated magazines, including the first issue with Eddie Mathews night baseball cover, and a three-page Topps gatefold loaded with Hall of Famers; and (2) copies of the 1962 Life edition with the famous Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris Post cereal cards.

8/23/54 Sports Illustrated issue #2 (GD) with golf cover, and a 3-page gatefold which presents much better than the magazine's cover, featuring a Topps New York Yankees team set of (27) cards, including fantasy black and white examples of Mickey Mantle, Enos Slaughter, and Allie Reynolds, along with color examples of Whitey Ford, Ed Lopat, Yogi Berra, Gene Woodling, Hank Bauer, and Bill Skowron;



8/11/55 Sports Illustrated (2) with Willie Mays, Laraine Day and Leo Durocher cover, and a single page of Topps National League cards (8) including Hall of Famers Ernie Banks and Warren Spahn, one example is (VG+) with the attractive card page attached, the other example is (FR) with the attractive card page detached;



4/18/55 Sports Illustrated (VG-EX) with Al Rosen cover, and a single page of Topps American League cards (8) including Bob Turley, Al Rosen and Roy Sievers, plus a second loose page of the same (8) cards;



4/13/62 Life magazine (2) with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton cover, and Post Cereal 2-card insert panel with Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, the magazines rate as (VG-EX+, VG) and both card panels are crisp and attractive with minor wear near the spine.
