Sized at 14x22, these vintage promoters are solid, with bold colors and distinct graphics, though all bear light to moderate stains. A spin-off of the Harlem Globetrotters, this comedic, barnstorming basketball team is billed on the front of these identical broadsides as “Canada’s Harlem Diplomats, Funmakers of Basketball”. Their opponents for the game being promoted are the Hancock All-Stars, and the location is Hancock Sr. High School. Two Diplomats players are pictured, with “Hooks” (Dick Harvey), and “Goose, Jr.” (son of Goose Tatum, d.1966).
