The "King of Rock and Roll" got his cardboard coronation in 1956, when this Topps Elvis complete set of (66) cards was released. Ranging (58% EX to EX-MT, 42% VG to VG-EX), these real photo, color cards depict early Elvis performances, along with scenes from his first feature film, "Love Me Tender." With his curled-up lip, pompadour-hair style, and gyrating hips, Elvis Presley was a controversial figure when this set was issued in the mid-1950s. So Topps came in through the back door, marketing it under the brand "Bubbles Inc.". Though "The King" has left the building for good, his impact on pop culture remains strong, as one of the most iconic figures the world of entertainment has ever seen. "Thank you very much, you're a beautiful audience".
