Rock super-band Pearl Jam went Medieval when they turned artists Todd McFarlane and Maxx 242 loose for a collaboration on their 7/10/12 Copenhagen, Denmark concert poster. The result is a stunning scene starring Medieval Spawn. Printed on archival stock, this 23x35 poster depicts the 15th Century Hellspawn Knight taking on a tentacled beast with a two-headed axe in each hand. This gloriously triumphant creation is a limited edition numbered “103/200” at top-left, and both McFarlane and Maxx have signed at top in silver, with average (“9.5”) strength. Light-to-moderate wear is noted at several points on the white border, particularly at the bottom-left corner. Fortunately the artwork remains unaffected and the border wear will be easily matted over in framed display. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
