Enter the high-stakes world of Marvel's intelligence agency with this bundle of (23) 1968-1969 Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. comics. Fury first showed up in 1963, as the rough-and-ready leader of the Howling Commandos unit in a retro WWII series. A few months later, he showed up in his contemporary spy role in the pages of The Fantastic Four. Fury then shared space with Dr. Strange in the Strange Tales anthology series before earning a solo spy title of his own. This 1968 title was Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., which ran for 15 issues into late 1969. Another 3 issues were added to the run in 1970-1971, and the mission was terminated after 18 issues.



Leading off this offering, is a consecutive run of the first (14) Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. issues. Dating from 1968-1969, these thoughtfully preserved, early Bronze Age comics are all very attractive, ranging (FN to VF+) with clean, vibrant covers, and tight spines, including issue numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14.
