Hailing from the tail end of the Golden Age, this prominent key features the first appearance of the Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onzz character. The green-skinned alien appears in one of this issue's back-up stories. Seen on the front cover are Detective Comics main stars, Batman and Robin. After seven decades of seclusion by the original owner, this classic comic has just returned from CGC, with a grade of (3.0, Off-White to White Pages). Contributing creators are Edmond Hamilton and Joe Samachson writers, Sheldon Moldoff, Joe Certa and Ruben Moreira art, and Win Mortimer cover. Five years after this debut appearance, the Martian Manhunter became a charter member of the Justice League of America, and a central character in the DC Universe.
