Western fans round up a rare treat, with this 1950s Standard Magazine Texas Rangers pulps collection of (31). Prized for their gorgeous cover art and rip-roaring stories, pulp magazines are seldom offered in a group this large, and with all (31) of these issues being from the same title this group is a fantastic find.

Typical of the genre, these pulps have overhang edges. Often when pulp magazines are offered, the edges have been cleaned up by trimming, which many collectors find acceptable. These Texas Rangers issues have not been trimmed, and report in their natural state. Though the edges are rough, this group is otherwise fairly attractive, in showing GD to VG-FN details with deference to (1) issue that suffers 20% front cover loss, and (1) that is well-faded. Typically, a grade of FN is considered a top mark for a pulp magazine, and VG examples are actually very respectable.

Featured issues are: 11/51, 12/51, 8/53, 9/53, 10/53, 11/53, 8/54, 5/54, 7/54, 10/54, 11/54, 3/55, 4/55, 5/55, 6/55, 8/55, 9/55, 10/55, 11/55, 12/55, 2/56, 5/56, 6/56, 8/56, 11/56, 12/56, 9/57, 10/57, 11/57, 1/58, and 2/58. Opening Bid $150.
