Pro football became a year-round thing, if only temporarily, with the founding of the USFL in 1983. The spring league drafted many top-rated college players, while also luring some solid veterans away from the NFL, resulting in some fairly solid football action. Recall the USFL Washington Federals first ever game, with these (2) full tickets. Dated 3/6/83, these tickets were issued for a game versus the Chicago Blitz at RFK Stadium. These colorful tickets are printed with the promising legend "United States Football League, The Inaugural Game". Both of these full tickets have been encapsulated by PSA, with: Section 114/Row 06/Seat 09 rated (GOOD 2); and Section 050/Row 01/Seat 05 rated (FR 1.5). A crowd on 38,007 was on hand to witness this debut skirmish, which didn't go so well for the Federals who wound up on the wrong side of a 28-7 score.

Opening Bid $200.
