This collection features hard to find publications from the NBA, the ABA and college basketball, and signatures by some of the greatest names in hoops history. Includes:

  

1)   1971-72. Virginia Squires signed program page with Jim Eakins, Mike Barrett, George Irvine, Neil Johnson, Ray Scott, Charlie Scott, Ron “Fatty” Taylor and two others. Signatures in red pen grading (“7 to 9”).

 

2)   1976 New York Nets press guide in Good to Very Good condition. Julius Irving has signed on his photo/bio page with a large (“9”) signature: Julius “Dr. J” Irving. The 5 ½ x 8 ½ booklet is also signed by Rod Thorn, John MacLeod and Al Bianchi.

 

3)   1971 Kentucky Colonels Magazine in Good to Very Good condition, with center page detached, signed in pencil (“5 to 7”) on their individual photo/bios by Dan Issell, Louie Dampier, Artis Gilmore (rookie), Don Freeman, Collis Jones, George Johnson, Rich Jones, Lee Hunter, Darel Carrier, Mitch Gale, Jimmy O'Brien, Walt Simon and Mike Platt.

 

4)   1952-53 “Minneapolis Laker News” (program) from game versus Indianapolis Olympians in Very Good condition signed by (5) Lakers players, a coach, an announcer and an opposing player, with (“8-9”) strength. It includes the greatest big man of his day, George Mikan, who applied a huge 3” signature on his two-page bio. Also signing are Jim Pollard, Slater Martin, Bob Harrison, Jim Holstein, John Kundla (coach), Dick Enroth (announcer) And Bill Tosheff (Indy).

 

5)   1972 “The 25 Wooden Years” ninety-six-page publication chronicling Wooden’s career with UCLA, with (15) signatures of (“6 to 8”) strength. The magazine, in Very Good condition, is signed on the cover by John Wooden, Keith “Jamal” Wilkes, Bill Walton, Swen Nater. Vince Carson, Larry Holyfield, Larry Farmer, Andre McCarter, Gary Franklin, Pete Trgovich, Greg Lee, Ralph Drollinger, Bob Webb, Tommy Curtis and Dave Meyers.

 

6)   Dallas Chaparrals versus Virginia Squires program from February 15th, 1972 game (unsigned) in Excellent to Near Mint condition.
