Cleveland Indian fans remember Herb Score as their beloved broadcaster, but many do not know that he started as one of the most promising young pitchers of all-time. The 1955 Rookie of the Year threw the ball 100 mph. Many thought he would go to the Hall of Fame, but after All-Star game appearances in 1955 and 1956, he was injured in a game in 1957 and retired early in 1962.
