In the great tradition of the Donruss Diamond Kings art cards started by Dick Perez in 1982, artist Mark Turnes has created a masterpiece with this 2005 Diamond Kings Legends original artwork. The subject is the great Cal Ripken Jr. who is certainly worthy of being deemed a legend. Housed in a 22-1/2 x 17-1/2” professionally mounted display, Turnes original art panel is seen in an 8x10 matting window. This captivating creation presents handsomely, and artist Turnes has signed on the field at left. Also housed within the frame are an example of the 2005 Donruss Diamond Kings Legend Ripken card #448 and a Donruss COA citing the painting as “1 of 1,” which is also signed by Turnes.
