“The Boys of Summer” live on, with this 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed logo baseball. Stamped with “Dodgers” on the reverse sweet spot, this period signed baseball (VG) hosts (25) autographs ranging (“5” to “7”) in quality, under a moderate coating of shellac. Nearly the entire gang is here, with all of the starting position players, and most of the bench and pitching staff present and accounted for. 1955 Was a very special season in Brooklyn, with the Dodgers winning their only World Series championship of their tenure in the New York City Borough. Though each of the signers has passed away. they will always be remembered as one of the greatest, and most beloved teams of all-time.
