The quirky Dick Farrell is the endorser of the offered 1958 Topps #76 rookie card. Shortly after he retired from Major League Baseball in 1969, Farrell relocated to England and worked on an offshore oil rig in the North Sea for several years. The former Philadelphia Phillies All-Star pitcher was ultimately killed in a 1977 car accident in England. As such, very few cards were signed by the elusive "Turk." The (VG-EX) surface was penned in blue ink with both the autograph and "Best Wishes" salutation grading an ("8") in both strength and clarity. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Opening Bid $200.
