While Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are akin to gods in the realm of comic book creation with many iconic heroes and villains to their credit, it was Lee teaming-up with artist Steve Ditko that give birth to Marvel's best selling character and title. This favorite son of course, is the Amazing Spider-Man, who made his first two appearances in the 1962 Amazing Fantasy #15, and the 1963 Amazing Spider-Man #1. Though Kirby had no part in the stories or interior artwork, he did provide a big assist in getting the web-headed wonder off the ground by doing cover work for both of these colossal Silver Age key issues.
Spin the winning bid to capture this 3/63 Marvel Amazing Spider-Man #1 issue. Permanently ranked high up on the Top 50 Silver Age Comic Books list, this Spider-Man first solo title issue marks the second appearance of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
