Lot Description  

Joe Sewell was the hardest guy to strikeout in baseball history, whiffing only once every 63 at-bats. Drawn on the First National Bank of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, these vintage checks (EX) have Sewell's signatures averaging ("8-9") in strength. Auction LOA from JSA. Opening Bid $50.
