You can't say his name, but to kids of the 1940s-1950s, Mr. Mxyzptlk was an irresistible character in Superman comics. This trickster from the 5th Dimension gave Superman fits, while giving readers an interesting and amusing character to focus on. The exasperating imp shows up here, in this 1955 DC Superman #96 issue, with story by Bill Finger and art by Wayne Boring and Al Plastino. CGC has recently returned this late Gold Age issue, with a grade of (4.5, Off-White to White Pages). Books from this period are getting harder and harder to find, and this mid-grade comic stands as a solid score.
