Alex Haley (d.1992) personal check dated 4/5/88, and drawn on the First Tennessee Bank;



Kurt Vonnegut (d.2007) Nathaniel Hawthorne first day cover, with Vonnegut's trademark asterisk, and the date inscription "Nov. 11, 1983."
