As companion pieces to their popular tobacco insert cards, Allen & Ginter produced associated multi-page albums. The albums showcased the cards all nestled around an array of additional graphics and scenes. Much more than a visual checklist of the cards, these albums are a special class of collectibles unto themselves. One of the tougher and more popular examples is this beautifully crafted 6" x 8" multi-page album for the "Celebrated American Indian Chiefs" series. This version by Linder, Eddy & Clauss, Lith. N.Y. has interior album pages that are Excellent or better, with most of the wear limited to the edges of the front and back covers (VG-EX). A non-original string binding is intact. Opening Bid $200.
