Get an insider's view of the workings of an NFL team with this player signed and inscribed Baltimore Colts playbook. Used by running back Tom Matte throughout his 12-year career as a fixture in the Colts backfield, this binder-bound playbook is absolutely fascinating, with pages and pages of instructions, guidelines, and a vast array of plays that enabled the Colts to win the NFL championship in 1968, and Super Bowl in 1970. Matte has signed ("7.5") inside the front cover, with the inscriptions "Baltimore Colts Play Book 1961-72 Coaches Weeb Ewbank Don Shula Don McCafferty" indicating the team, years of use, and the architects behind the plans and schemes. The durable, metal-hinged binder remains solid, and the pages are generally clean and supple with clearly discernible contents. No authentication for Matte's autograph, due to time/cost constraints, however the signature is presumed to be genuine.

Opening Bid $200.
