Teams at various levels benefitted greatly from the efforts of football lifer Jim Finks. As a player, coach and executive, Finks did stints in the NFL, NCAA, and CFL, most notably as a general manager with the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and New Orleans Saints. Finks also spent a year as an assistant coach at Notre Dame, and for good measure he served as president of the Chicago Cubs for a couple of seasons, including 1984 when the Cubs won the NL pennant. Following his demise due to illness in 1994, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995. Your collection will benefit greatly from the addition of these (4) 1954-1955 Bowman football cards signed by Finks with average ("7"-"8") potency. One signature shows minor ink migration and one card is creased an inch above the autograph, otherwise the group is appealing.
