Calling this 1987 Manute Bol game-worn Washington Bullets warm-up suit “super-sized” is an understatement. The massive pants alone measure approximately 5’ 4” and together with the jacket, the two garments reach nearly 8’ in height. Tied with Gheorghe Muresan as the tallest player in NBA history, Bol enjoyed a 10-year career as one of the game's best shot blockers. The warm-up jacket has an array of labels inside the collar, with “87” and “10”, indicating the 1987 season, and Bol’s uniform number. Also noted are a McGregor Sand-Knit size “42” factory label, and a smaller label that reads “ 6"LB. " Inside the waistband of the break-away pants are the same “87” and “10” labels, a McGregor Sand-Knit label with “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Washington Bullets National Basketball Association," a size “34” McGregor Sand-Knit label, and three more labels that read “ 2"HR,” “50,” and “"IN." Both garments have NBA logos, and the jacket has a Bullets logo patch on the front and a Washington patch on the back. Both pieces present in excellent condition with vibrant colors, and light wear.
