Get a handle on the only player to ever win four batting titles and still not be enshrined in the Hall of Fame, with the acquisition of this Bill Madlock game-used bat. Dating from 1984-1986, this Worth model WC123 bat originates during the time when Madlock was traded from the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Perhaps it was “Mad Dog’s” fiery temper that kept him out of the Hall, where a number of hitters below his caliber have bronze plaques hanging on the walls. Though he was nearing the end of his career, Madlock was still a productive hitter, when he employed this vintage gamer. Heavy signs of authentic use are evident with extensive contact marks, grain checking, bat racks streaks, and a handle crack all noted. The knob is impressed with the initials “BM," the number “5," and the model number “WC123," and Madlock’s uniform number “5” is thickly written in black to the right of these impressions. The accompanying full LOA from John Taube-PSA/DNA designates the grade as PSA/DNA GU 9 for this outstanding game-used bat.

Opening Bid $150.
