PSA has graded many full tickets and ticket stubs from the 1970 World Series even though they have only encapsulated (2) two-ticket blocks to date. Both of these blocks were submitted for PSA certification by Huggins and Scott Auctions, in service to our consignor, who maintains an extensive collection of such tickets. H&S is pleased to present both PSA-graded ticket blocks in this current auction. While PSA has placed both blocks in the same Pop Report category of "1970 World Series Gm.1/GM.2-Panel," the ticket types are unique, with one block being good for Loge seating, and the other one good for a Field Box seat. There will be more to come from this stellar collection in future H&S auctions, but here and now, this is your chance to be first in line for these never-before-offered ticket blocks, which are the only PSA-encapsulated examples of their type in existence.

The 1970 World series was a colorful affair with the Cincinnati Reds "Big Red Machine" squaring off against the Baltimore Orioles, and the "Human Vacuum Cleaner" himself, Brooks Robinson, who earned the series MVP award. While many home runs were hit, it was the pitching rich Orioles who rolled out the majority of the heavy artillery, belting 10 homers to the Reds 5, in a five-game battle. A marvelous souvenir from this Fall Classic of long ago arrives, with this 1970 World Series unused full ticket block of (2) with Game 1 and Game 2. The only Field Box ticket block PSA has ever graded, this magnificent example has earned a desirable rating of (EX 5). A review of PSA's Pop Report reveals this block to be "1/1" at this level, with just 1 higher, which is the Loge Reserved block also appearing in this current auction. Opening Bid $300.
