"Ee-Yah!" Here's a real blast from the past! Over the last 140 years or so, many different major and minor league teams have called Baltimore home. Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings played there as the shortstop of the hard-nosed National League Orioles during the 1890s, winning three consecutive NL championships while he was there. Jennings was also a player-manager for the Eastern League Orioles in 1904, guiding the AAA club to a second-place finish with a 78-52 record. Here we see Jennings at center of a 1904 "Baltimore Baseball Team" composite photo, featuring 16 player portraits. Framed to overall dimensions of 13" x 16", this ancient cabinet photo has held up surprisingly well, given the fragile nature of large format cabinet photos. Creasing affects only the the top-left oval portrait, otherwise this photo is very attractive. Pictured are: Jennings, Burchell, Mason, Jordan, Kelly, McFarland, Wiltse, Adkins, Hayden, Hearne, Loudenschlager, Mills, Lewis, Griffin, Walters, and Byers. The small print at bottom is a photographer's credit, that reads "Copyright 1904 by H.C. Weasner, Buffalo, N.Y."

Opening Bid $250.
