Display-minded folks can score big with this 1890s-1960s baseball equipment collection of (22). Populated with antique full-length bats, catcher’s masks, a mini-baseball, and a variety of gloves, this vintage selection ranges from very handsome to well-worn. The bats and masks are among the best-preserved items in the group, and several gloves are very attractive, including a buckle-back catcher’s mitt and a Ted Williams signature model fielder’s glove with Sears branding.



Featured are:



Full-length bats (5) with: 1.) c.1890s Victor Sporting Goods No. AV25; 2.) c.1900s Reach No. 3/0 Special; 3.) c.1920s Goldsmith Special; 4.) c.1930s Draper & Maynard No. 100 Major League Special Model 68; 5.) 30” bat with two rings etched in near the end of the barrel has faint labeling on the barrel end, and 172 burned into the thick handle, which tapers to a knob;



Rawlings mini-baseball (1) with well-worn labeling stamps;



Catcher’s masks (3) with: 1.) MacGregor-Goldsmith Bill Dickey signature model 276; 2.) Rawlings Stan Lopata signature model OV-62; and 3.) Goldsmith spider cage model;



Catcher’s mitts (1) with a logo of the letter “R” in a triangle, a very attractive buckle back type;  



First baseman’s mitts (2) with: 1.) Denkert “Babe” Dahlgren signature model; and 2.) Denkert Bill Skowron signature ST7 first baseman’s mitt;



Fielder’s gloves (10) with: 1.) MacGregor Richie Ashburn signature model G22; 2.) Sears Ted Williams signature model 400; 3.) Marathon split-fingered Charlie Root signature model with no visible number, has the name of a former owner written on the back fastening strap; 4.) Marathon split-fingered Joe Medwick signature model 4234; 5.) Shoeless Joe model 1250 with batter logo on the palm; 6.) TruSport Pinky Higgins signature model has no visible numbering; 7.) JC Higgins left-handed, split-fingered Harold “Pie” Traynor signature model has former owner initials on the back strap; 8.) “Kiki” Cuyler signature with undetermined logo and web laces absent; 9.) split-fingered glove with padded heel has faint manufacturing details, and names of former owners written and stamped on back; and 10.) split-fingered glove with faint labeling appears to be a Connie Mack signature model.
