Thanks to Jackie Robinson, Branch Rickey, and the Brooklyn Dodgers, segregation in baseball ended long ago. Many stars from the old Negro Leagues played in relative obscurity, however as this long overlooked branch of baseball is now classified as part of Major League Baseball, thousands of Negro League players and their stats are recognized. With nearly all of them deceased, the time to incorporate these quality players into your collection is now, and the opportunity is ripe with this collection of (110+) Negro Leaguer signed photos and flats. Signature strength ranges ("6" to "10") with the great majority being solid autograph examples, and the materials are generally attractive, with only a very few showing any more than light wear.
