Hammer down the winning bid for this vintage baseball, single-signed by the "Hebrew Hammer." Slugger Hank Greenberg made pitchers pay for their mistakes with great frequency during the 1930s-1940s when he suited up for the Detroit Tigers. From 1947-1961, he was an executive with the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago White Sox. Stamped "Chicago White Sox" on the reverse sweet spot, the offered baseball was period signed circa 1950s-1960s by Greenberg during his front office days. A sweet spot application, this Greenberg autograph has been enhanced by an unknown hand and the result projects ("6.5") potency. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
Opening Bid $250.
