Crafty Hall of Fame pitcher Ted Lyons is up for bid with this single-signed baseball. After graduating from Baylor, Lyons signed with the Chicago White Sox and gave them 40+ years of service as a player, manager, coach, and scout, finishing up his playing career as the franchise's winningest pitcher, with 260 wins. It's fitting that the offered ball is stamped "Chicago White Sox" on the reverse sweet spot. Sometime during the 1950s-1960s, Lyons signed this vintage ball on the east panel, and many years later, his signature retains sufficient integrity to rate as a ("7") strength example. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Opening Bid $150.
