These loaf ends seldom survived their initial point-of-sale encounter, and due to being printed on a wafer-thin printing stock, the few surviving examples are frequently found in lower grade. However, the winning bidder will be well pleased with the offered collection! These 2-3/4" squares are die-cut and only Branca displays significant perimeter fraying, notching or tearing. The remaining endpoints are mostly crisp with the labels displaying sound surface foundations and crisp player/biographical box color sequences. Despite expected surface creasing and packaging remnants found on each reverse, these "golden age" stars present in fantastic condition.
