Great American statesmen of the 20th Century take the auction stage, with this group of (3) political autographed items.
From our highest office, comes a Woodrow Wilson (d.1924) signed page, in a 10 x 11-/2" matted display with a photograph. 28th President Wilson's ("8") strength signature follows the personalization "With appreciation of the thoughtful service of Arthur H. Cremona". The photo is of Wilson and his entourage leaving a building with the name "Pennsylvania" above the door, which may be the Hotel Pennsylvania in Manhattan, that opened in 1919. Cremona was the general manager for the Hotel Ambassador in Manhattan, and also in Atlantic City.
Longtime Senator from Massachusetts Ted Kennedy appears twice in this offering, with a single-signed ("10") 2006 hardcover book "Back on Track" with dust jacket; and a dual-signed Newsweek magazine cover only, dated 5/31/76. Kennedy's magazine autograph rates as ("8.5"), and his fellow signer in career politician Hubert H. Humphrey ("9", d.1978), who served as Mayor of Minneapolis, Senator from Minnesota, and Vice President of the United States of America.
