Boston Red Sox fans, and the baseball world at large, said goodbye to a peerless talent, when Ted Williams retired in 1960. It was impossible to fill "Teddy Ballgame's" shoes, but the Red Sox Nation got some pretty fair compensation, when the baton was passed to rookie Carl Yastrzemski in 1961. "Yaz" spent his entire 23-year Hall of Fame career with the Sox, tying Brooks Robinson for the honor of playing the longest for the same team. Take a look back at Yastrzemski's remarkably productive career, with this collection of (12) autographs, milestone ticket stubs, World Series gameday souvenirs, and more.

Featured are:

Autographs (2) both ("9.5"): 1984 Fleer card #412; and 4-1/2 x 1-1/2" index card cut. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.

Milestone ticket stubs (2) both show VG details, with deference to minor adhesive residue on the reverse: 7/24/79 career home run #400; and 9/12/79 career hit #3,000.

World Series gameday souvenirs (3): 1967 Game 7 ticket stub (VG-EX+) with deference to written score notations on the reverse; 1967 Red Sox version program (VG); and Yastrzemski's 1984 WNEV-TV Working Media pass (FR).

1989 Hall of Fame Game ticket stub from induction weekend presents VG-EX details, with deference to minor adhesive residue on the reverse.

Photographs (4) average (EX-NT to NM): 11x14 game action shot running the bases, credited to Boston photographer Dick Raphael; Exhibit-like photo on thin cardboard stock; and (2) 4x6s: waving to fans, and uniform number retirement ceremony.

Opening Bid $100.
