The patriarch of a famous hockey family, Howe knew something about longevity. Born during the "Roaring 20s", the long-lasting forward played 32 seasons of professional hockey, and lived to the ripe old age of 88. As hockey's top scorer of the pre-Gretzky era, Howe remarkably remained a productive scorer through 26 NHL seasons, and another 6 in the WHA. Reporting in attractive state throughout, the offered photos host Howe autographs ranging ("7" to "10") in potency. Top billing in this vintage group goes to a cover from the 3/11/74 issue of Sports Illustrated.
