Ice up the winning bid to make "Mr. Hockey" yours tenfold, with this Gordie Howe signed magazine photo collection of (10). The patriarch of a famous hockey family, Howe knew something about longevity. Born during the "Roaring 20s", the long-lasting forward played 32 seasons of professional hockey, and lived to the ripe old age of 88. As hockey's top scorer of the pre-Gretzky era, Howe remarkably remained a productive scorer through 26 NHL seasons, and another 6 in the WHA. Reporting in attractive state throughout, the offered photos host Howe autographs ranging ("7" to "10") in potency. Top billing in this vintage group goes to a cover from the 3/11/74 issue of Sports Illustrated. Other treasures are (2) two page spreads, with one signed on the opposite side by Stan Mikita, and the other signed on the opposite side by Phil Esposito. Also noted are a Houston Aeros photo of Howe with his sons Mark and Marty, along with (2) more signed by others on the opposite side, with Steve Vickers, and Jacques LaPerriere. If all that isn't enough for you, another page is signed by Howe on both sides, bringing the lot total to (11) Howe autographs. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.

Opening Bid $150.
