Hall of Fame legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar only signed as "Lew Alcindor" while playing at UCLA, and with the Milwaukee Bucks until 1971, when he officially changed his name. Dating from the year before his name change, this 10/25/70 Milwaukee Bucks program is also signed by (3) other Hall of Famers, with: Larry Costello, Oscar Robertson, and Lenny Wilkins. Alcindor's signature (“9”) is a prominent example, appearing on the same page with Robertson, who has signed in customary fashion as “The Big O”. The balance of signers are: Bucks: McGlocklin; and Seattle Supersonics: T. Black, Cross, Heard, Kojis (2), Meschery, D. Smith, Snyder, and Winfield. Signature strength ranges (“7" to "10"), and the program presents as pristine, with deference to moderate spine wear. Contested at the Milwaukee Arena, the represented game resulted in a 126-107 for the Bucks, and their happy fans. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Opening Bid $300.
