All-time greats are celebrated in high style, with this 1970s Corinthian Mint gold-plated .999 silver baseball coin set of (4), featuring Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, and Hank Aaron. The edges of each are marked "24KT. G/P on .999 Silver", along with the mint identifications "MACO" on (3), and "AMI" on the last (1). Sized with a 1-3/4" diameter, these hefty rounds have a combined weight of nearly 8 ounces. The obverse designs are high relief portrait images, while the reverses detail major accomplishments. Wear is generally light, however the Cobb piece has some surface color loss on the high points of the reverse. Accompanying is the original Corinthian Mint presentation case.



Also present are (2) identical 1" diameter Hank Aaron coins, with a profile image on the front, and a baseball with "715" on the back. These coins are not marked, and both present handsomely.
