A "Frankenstein" bobble head figure lives, with this 1968-1970 Washington Redskins gold round base bobble head with 1972 helmet logo. This 7" creation appears to be a hybrid, with a 1968-1970 body, and a 1972 head joined together. Along with the helmet logo decals, the spring is attached to the interior of the head with a dark material, suggesting the grafting of the later date head onto the gold round base body. The result is actually very pleasing, with this vibrant fellow presenting VG details. Moderate signs of wear include typical erosion of the head opening rim, a chip on the collar, minor wear on the jersey and base decals, and two short hairline cracks on the back of the helmet. On the plus side, the colors are bold, the surface is glossy, the helmet decals show nice integrity, and the Sports Specialties sticker is securely attached to the underside of the base.
