Co-founded by Arnold Palmer in 1959, the Laurel Valley Golf Club hosted the Ryder Cup in 1975. A handy 21-11 U.S. victory over the Great Britain and Ireland team, brought the all-time results to a record of 17-3-1, in favor of the American team. From this dominant U.S. triumph under non-playing captain Palmer, comes this complete set of (4) 1975 Ryder Cup ticket stubs with: 9/18 Celebrity Foursome & Practice Matches (EX+); 9/19 Friday Matches (GD) due to a v-shaped tear at top, otherwise this stub is clean and sturdy; 9/20 Saturday Matches (VG+); and 9/21 Sunday Matches (VG). Following the 1975 event, discusiions began to change the format, and when the Ryder Cup returned to America in 1979, it was the United States vs. Europe, and expanded team with players from the UK and the European continent.
