Take aim at a high powered offering, with this 1950s shooting medal collection of (62). All but (12) of these vintage medals were made by famous maker Blackinton, the leading provider of such items going back to the mid-19th Century. Of the (50) which bear the Blackinton hallmark, (4) are marked sterling. Overall wear is light to moderate, however a few pieces show considerable signs of attrition, including one that is partial, without the pin-back fastening portion. Many are dated, and have place names, mainly from Texas and Louisiana. The designs are very appealing, and a good number have order of finish designations, such as winner, first place, second place, or third place. Most are individual awards, though several are identified as team, or master class. With the exception on the one partial piece, all are formatted with a pin-backed title/identification badge at top, followed by event type bars, often with the caliber noted, and finally a medallion at bottom, all connected by ribbons of various colors.

Opening Bid $100.
