"Babe" Ruth was a super-human! There's no other way to explain how he could crush an astonishing amount of beer, hot dogs, cigars, and whatever else crossed his path, and still go out and batter opposing pitchers at a .342 clip, while making the home run baseball's biggest thrill. Just about everything the Yankees slugger did was larger than life, and when Ruth lent his visage to an endorsement, you just had to buy. For those of you who weren't around in 1930s, we offer up (3) 1934-1935 Quaker Oats premiums, in average Ex-Mt condition.
First up is a scarce 1934 fob score keeper, with the "Bambino" wearing a New York Yankees cap. Next up, is the follow up edition of the fob score keeper from 1935, with Ruth seen in a Boston Braves cap. The cherry on top of this sweet trio, is a 1935 Babe Ruth Champions pin, again with the "Babe" in Boston cap. As an added bonus, a reproduction example of the 1925 Sultan of Swat pin, originally made by Whitehead & Hoag, is included.
Opening Bid $100.
