This vintage series was issued as a set of 24, plus 3 variation cards, including Warren Spahn in Boston Braves cap, and Milwaukee Braves cap. Headlining this duo, is the Spahn Boston cap version, which has just returned from SGC, with a grade of (2.5 GD+). As the Braves moved from Boston to Milwaukee in 1953, this Boston card is obviously the earlier of the two Spahn variations, and it is cited as the toughest card of the 1953 Dixie Lids series.
