Marvel's Giant-Size X-Men #1 issue has maintained a firm spot on the "Top 25 Bronze Age Comics" list, for decades now. Released in the Summer of 1975, this major key issue comic is prized far and wide for showcasing the first appearance of the "New X-Men" team. The original X-Men series went dormant in 1970, after issue #66, with Marvel publishing only reprinted stories in issues #67 through #93. This Giant-Size #1 issue revitalized the title, as a lead-in to X-Men #94, by introducing the new team of Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Thunderbird. This mega-key issue also marked the second full appearance of the wildly popular character, Wolverine. Here we have a very attractive example of the 1975 Giant-Size X-Men #1 comic, graded 9.2 by CGC, with an "Off-White to White Pages" notation. Printed on the back of the CGC custom label is "Len Wein story, Dave Cockrum art, Gil Kane & Dave Cockrum cover, 1st appearance of new X-Men, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Thunderbird, 2nd full appearance of Wolverine".
