New York Mets fans double your collecting pleasure, with these (2) 1960s bobble heads. Batting leadoff is a scarce "Mr. Met" mascot bank with round gold base, that presents NM+ details, however it appears to have restoration on the rim of the head opening below the chin, extending around to, and up on the left side of the head. The paint is bold, and the decals are outstanding, with just a couple of flecks of loss on the perimeter of the left sleeve logo patch. Teaming with this tough bank example, is a boy face type with round green base, stamped "Made in Japan" under the base, with the copyright date "1962". This fine little fellow is also pleasing, with excellent decals. Moderate erosion on the rear of the head opening rim, and a hairline crack favorably located in the brown hair paint on the back of the head, limit the grade of this piece to (EX), though otherwise he presents a good bit better.
