Top off your collection with this Hall of Famer game used cap. Made by New Era during the period 1978-1988, this Baltimore Orioles hat is reported as having been worn by first baseman Eddie Murray during the O's 1983 World Series championship season. Though the size tag is eroded, the size is estimated as "7-1/4". Murray's uniform number "33" is written in black on the underside of the bill. The interior sweatband is significantly stained, and MLB logo and New Era labels remain securely attached at rear. Other signs of authentic wear include light soiling on the black and white panels, slight curving of the orange bill, and light thread fraying on some of the eyelet openings. Affixed to the front white panel is an embroidered "Bird" mascot patch, and overall this cap retains a pleasing shape. Phil Wood LOA.
