1920s-1930s George "Babe" Ruth Junior Baseball Bat: This early example is H&B's classic "40 BRJ" (Babe Ruth Junior) model with the interesting detail of "YOUTHS" burned in above the Louisville Slugger brand. The all-important engraved signature, "George 'Babe' Ruth," is deep, dark and clear. A lovely mahogany patina runs the entire 31" length, with expected bumps, bruises and dead wood impinging little if at all upon the bat's display appeal. An extremely attractive survivor that visually presents as EX or better.
