Swing like one of baseball's heavy hitters, with this Giancarlo Stanton game-used bat. At the age of thirty-three, the Yankees slugger has already tallied 378 homers, and seems like a lock to join the revered "500 Home Run Club" about four or five seasons from now. Judging by the extensive signs of contact, Stanton surely must have launched a dinger or two with this brown Louisville Slugger, from his early days with the Miami Marlins. A model "U47 Genuine Giancarlo Stanton" bat, this gamer bears moderate to heavy use, including many ball and stitch impressions, blue ink transfers, and white leather scuffs all around the barrel. The handle bears a thin coating of pine tar, along with an oval of revealed maple grain, as mandated by the MLB for identification purposes. Stamped into the knob are the date of manufacture "01/24/14", the letters "VM", the length "34.0", and the weight "35.0". Truly a handsome example from one of baseball's most potent active sluggers, this impressive war club stands as a great acquisition. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA.
