Old time hockey is in play, with this selection of (4) 1940s-1950s hockey items. Prolific scorer and 8X Stanley Cup champion Maurice "Rocket" Richard (Hall of Fame, d.2000) plays the main role in this offering, with (3) items to his credit, all in French language: 1.) 1958 "Maurice Richard, Inc." personal company annual business meeting minutes document: signed by Richard three times in blue ballpoint pen, with average ("9") potency, this original document is crisp and clean, with distinct content and firm signatures of Richard and two other company officers; 2.) 1940s Parade Sportive 5 x 8-1/2" photo (EX-MT) with Montreal postmark at top; 3.) 1950s Dow Brewery RPPC (EX-MT+), unused and extremely crisp, with very slight wear on two corners preventing a NM-MT+ rating. Also present is a rare 1946 Pacific Coast League 10 x 10-1/2" news service photo (GD), signed by Oakland Oaks goaltender Al Picard ("7") who is seen defending the net against two attacking San Diego Skyhawks players. Auction LOA from JSA for Richard signatures; Picard autograph is unauthenticated due to lack of exemplars.
