From the ancient history department, comes this trove of (100+) Philadelphia Athletics autographed index cards and cuts. This battalion of "Mackmen" had their days in the sun at Shibe Park long ago, from the 1910s-1950s. This lovingly curated collection is comprised mostly of autographs applied directly to index cards, however a small number are cuts adhered to index cards. Some bear inscriptions or salutations, several are personalized, and the loving part is made evident by the typed identifications, dates of A's service, and/or other pertinent information added by the original collector to every single card. Signature strength is pleasing throughout, ranging ("8" to "10"), and the cards are in solid condition. Auction LOA from JSA.
