Legendary hurler Grover Cleveland Alexander (d.1950) satisfied an autograph request with the offered 1947 handwritten signed letter. The dated 11/4/47 note is inscribed in blue ink with the autograph and note displaying ("8") penmanship. Framed and matted to overall 14-1/2 x 22-3/4" dimensions (limited wear to the exterior wood framing), this piece also pictures "Old Pete" with a bearded House of David member.
