Offered is a 1977 Topps Star Wars Series 2 spool of several thousand uncut wrappers. This waxy sci-fi hoard features the imposing image of Darth Vader surrounded by advertisements for the “Meccano” and “Capiepa” brands in French. However, these spools should not be confused with O-Pee-Chee as the manufacturer is not listed anywhere on the product. In short, much of this lot still remains a mystery. Measures nearly 6x12” (wrapper length by spool diameter). Despite storage exposure and other incidental wear, these artifacts still present in excellent condition. The date “Nov 13 1977” is printed on the sides.
