Author/illustrator Armstrong Sperry is best known for his Newbery Medal-winning 1940 book Call It Courage—and that's exactly the work addressed in this contract from May 5, 1939. It's described this way: "Call It Courage - with illustrations - exact number of illustrations to be determined."
